For anyone who wants to get into speaker tube amps without sacrificing any of the modern trimmings, the APPJ 1601 has a lot to offer. Built to power passive speakers, this compact amplifier features the 6J1+ 6P14 tube set and comes equipped with a variety of inputs for your smartphone, computer, SD card, flash disk, and aux-in source—you can even stream music wirelessly via Apple AirPlay or DLNA. The 1601 supports just about every format under the sun (including MP3, WMA, AAC, AAC+, ALAC, FLAC, APE, and WAV), and with a footprint of 5.1 by 3.9 inches, it won’t take up much space on your desk. Finally, it uses a separate power supply (included) for better audio performance.
Note: This amplifier supports standard 3-pin power cords. A power cord is not included.
