could someone owning this amp measure that area. There are millions of stickers out there, something should work to hide that :)
Thanks in advance!
even though i had been thinking of something like this.
Have a nice weekend
Considering the feedback from this drop, I suspect that once the mfg runs out of the corny printed cases, they'll probably ditch the graphics in the next iteration--hope so, 'cause then even I'd buy one!
It's worth $99.00. This amp sounds beautiful and at this price it's a steel. If you leave the amp on to long it will get hot, so a sticker would likely lose its stickiness. Maybe a wide, interesting looking CPU heat sink. I'll measure it tomorrow and let you know the size.
“Amperex definitely made some great ones like the Original "Bugle Boy" series with it's seemingly, magical ability to filter out noise like the Mullards do, and the later, map versions with their full, balanced sound, black background, and great sound staging.”
”Classic Hi-fi brands such as Marantz, Fisher, Scott, etc... owe a large part of their great sound to these tubes. In the line up of the three sisters, the three European sisters that is, the Amperex is like the fair-haired Dutch blond. The Telefunken is the tall, well built, sandy haired blond in the family, and the Mullard is the ravishing black haired, British brunette.”
The size is 3 inches by 1.75 inches.
Wait....... what was it we were talking about again?
As I recall, it was shaken or stirred...
I love that cartoon design! Definitely retro-looking. I guess each to their own...
