Wow Apple consumers are among the ignorant bunch. I don't mean to be rude but I have genuinely found that those who purchase Apple products share a few things in common. They aren't technically inclined (hence why you're buying an iPhone) and not all of you use common sense. Why would Massdrop NOT get genuine Apple products? Do you NOT understand how that would affect them as a company!? Logic people, it's in there somewhere, beyond a small battery and slow processor. I totally understand that there's companies that use the Apple Earpod design but legally, they can't use the Apple name, branding, logo, etc. That aside, earpods I don't even think are worth this price tag. They're comfortable yes but there are five dollar options that sound leagues better than these. Venture Electronics Monk Plus. May need amplification for your phone, if you have an iPhone, you should be fine. At least apple does one thing right, that is features, not so much performance.

NeenerManWell I do(or should I say did) appreciate Apples computer quality back in the day but it has slacked badly as of late. My old iMac is still kicking but I bought a MBP about a year ago and right after the year warranty the Hard Drive crapped out while updating the OS. Apple took care of it free of charge but it caused me to question them and build a PC in hopes of making it dual boot hackintosh of course. Might be considering an android next too.

JunkMailTwelveThe company loves their money. Customer service as far as I know is good. They have battery replacement help or used to. Their products aren't quite quality. I got an iPhone 5S for free, I was phoneless for a year (dyslexia and high school leave no room for employment) and comparing to my old Samsung S3, the battery was still small, processor was still slow, camera was better, audio quality was better, display is better BUT my S3 was VERY modified. iPhones are packed with quality features, the battery just sucks which makes me want to run it in power saver which makes the whole thing SL.....O.wW.
JunkMailTwelveI'm running a mid-2009 MBP and the harddrive JUST died in April. I put an SSD in it, took it to the apple store and they flashed OSX on it for free, and I threw an SSD in the optical drive tray (it never worked anyway). It looks like it's been through hell (and it has), but new memory (up 4 to 8!) and a new hard drive(s) and it's still kickin.
The graphics processor is shit, though. Won't play 1080 out of my GoPro, let alone 4k; I don't expect it to, but damn is that frustrating.

w84u2cyHow is his comment stopping anyone? Just opinions here and there. Listen or not, it's their money and their choices.

w84u2cyI don't have any control over what you do and do not purchase. I'm simply spewing out info I feel useful to people looking for better sound quality.
