There are several areas of legitimate concern regarding this watch, first and foremost: it's ugly on stilts! Normally that's where I'd leave it, however, in this case, especially for those who don't share my feelings on the first point, there are (as others have eluded to) longstanding issues of candor, misrepresentation, exaggeration, truth-stretching, and bald-face lying associated with this vendor that you should be aware of. Here are a few facts: The vendor has sold various watches on MD under various names (Aquacy, Oceaneva, Audaz, and several others). The vendor has referred to his watches as "Diving Watches" despite not meeting the established requirements. The vendor has claimed his watches are the equivalent of DIVERS 200m watches, and feels ISO certification is unnecessary. The vendor believes his self preformed pressure testing videos prove his watches meet his claims, including up to 1,000M The vendor blamed a string legitimate QC concerns on poor customer reviews that highlighted the problem. The vendor once argued his are the "best made watches in the world" and are better than "Swiss made" watches. The vendor does not actually make watches--he contracts with Chinese manufacturers to have them made to his designs. Two things anyone who's unfamiliar with the vendor and/or is new to the site: Use MD's "search" function up top to search for "Aquacy" Expand and READ all of the comments, Vendor responses, and every review. Once you've done all that, you can form your own opinions, and make an informed purchase decision. Good luck, and remember: never buy an ugly watch.
