Aragon is a great brand, they produce amazing watches that represent value for money that are punching well above there weight. Wing the owner is very passionate about his designs, product & brand. I have lost count of how many Aragon watches I have bought, many as gifts & I have never been disappointed.

I like it. Nothing wrong with a guy passionate about watches, making fresh designs and quality materials/ workmanship in an industry where you simply will never be respected purely because you aren't 100 years old and European. Let's be honest, watch people are kinda snobby. Sorry but it's true.

JakobSure. But only a vocal minority. Most of us have some crimes against all things good and decent in our collection that we still love

It looks a lot like a Ball, but less refined.

Monster in size, monster in specs. That said, at only 50mm lug to lug for the smaller version, it’s wearable for me. 17mm thickness is pushing it, but I have watches that are thinner but longer lug to lug. On the Aragon website, there appears to be some upgrades available. A crystal with cyclops for an extra $100, as well as a solid clasp for $27. Curious to know which clasp we get, and whether we can get those upgrades if desired. Originally priced at $1600 (just no, sorry) it’s going for $800 ‘on sale’ now. Considering the movement (and it’s claims to be regulated to basically COSC spd parameters), the specs and the construction, I’d say good deal at $555 if you have the wrists to pull it off.

Sweet... That thing will match my Chef knife. What time is it? Time to chop your hand off.

A delicate little wallflower of a watch--the kind you almost forget you're wearing moments after you fasten the clasp? Not likely! To be fair, the watch does come in two sizes: too big, and Much Too Big. And at only 4.5 ounces shy of a full-pound, that 50mm arm-stretcher may require a little watch-on/watch-off assistance. I recommend the Ray-co Heft-O-Matic for that little chore!

All kidding aside, you have to give the "designer" credit for his creative talents--I understand he took his inspiration from the restaurant where he worked before striking it BIG in the watch business...

I think that Wing at Aragon recently bought out the Android Watch Company as they could no longer trade using the Android brand name for legal reasons.

ThePhantom008Wing was Android watches before Google started using it. It was a registered trademark and he sued. Here is a six year old article about it: https://www.pcworld.com/article/2031733/android-watchmaker-oko-sues-google-for-trademark-infringement.html While I did not search further, gossip I heard around the net suggested it was financially advantageous for Wing to let the trademark go to Google.

Well, 44mm may be a touch small, but dunno how if I could handle 50mm. 56mm lug to lug? Paul Bunyon I ain't...

tbjsI have the Divemaster ll Meteorite in the 45mm and while it is a bit tall at 17mm and heavy, you don't feel like you'll ever break it. I like it, and for the the Drop price it was still $250 cheaper than on sale directly from Aragon. The one thing I wish Wing would do is step up to Tritium illumination. I have an Armourlite and some Balls that have the tritium markers and am spoiled by the fact that they are always readable regardless of whether or not they've been exposed to light.
