I have never gone below 5 meters so I should be okay with this choice! However, having a watch that will go 1000 meters makes me feel more at ease with my world.

Ha! I looked at their website, and found this gem in the description:
"You’ll probably notice the screw down back which greatly enhances waterproofing. Perfect fit “o” rings on the case back and crown stem assure that this watch is water resistant in excess of 5 meters."

Read the copy and watched the video; verdict: Hype--and a shit-load of it.
Now I don't know this for a fact, but I've heard that upon contact with crunchy peanut butter, Graphine Oxide has been known to transform spontaneously into white-hot molten lava!
But you know--I mean, even if that were true, who eats crunchy peanut butter any more?
So, probably a non-issue for most of us.
