Reading some earlier comments, I just want to clarify to ARCAM's class 'A'. If they say class 'A' that is what it is. Class G qualifies the use of 'A' to 'AB' switching at higher power levels. This is found on their power amps and receivers. I have one which runs class 'A' to 35 Watts and class 'AB' to 125 Watts. The idea is to mitigate heat and wasted energy which would not be cost effective on a headphone amplifier. The build quality on my receiver is top notch however they tend to be more focused on sound vs. features. With that said i have it connected to B&W CM10's and whether its Vivaldi or Tool the music sounds as if it's been blessed by God.
