Arcanent, or “spin box” in latin, specializes in watch winders. The founder started it in response to an industry-wide disconnect, in which quality watch winders could only be had for exorbitant prices Read More
Are there any actual reviews out there about this winder?
I was planning on buying a Rapport Formula Six winder since that brand is actually well known and the finish on everything looks much nicer than this. But for less than a third of the price of the Rapport, this winder is both suspicious and tempting.

Hope to see 24 watches winder at a good price here
I ran out of room in my current winder collection (3 Wolf doubles and 2 Wolf singles), so I bought a Pangea Q480 quad winder from WatchWinderStation. It has many desirable features - one watch/motor, independent control for each watch, adjustable TPD, and switchable between CW/CCW/both. But, it just isn't perfect - the pillows are flimsy, the translucent cover is made of thin acrylic, and the cover won't stay open by itself (while I insert/remove a watch). Plus, the glossy black finish acts as a dust magnet. But a full refund will still leave me more than $500 short of the purchase price of this unit. Decisions, decisions ....
You know what would go nice with a digital watch winder? A BluRay disc rewinder.
(Sorry, "digital watch winder" made me giggle and think of Douglas Adams opinion of folks who wear digital watches.)
From what I've found, this is a really good deal on a really good winder. Better than wolf? Who knows, but definitely better than most affordable winders, which either don't let you set the ever-important TPD, don't have ball bearings (which allow the winder to run without servicing), have more than one watch per motor, or all three. Amazon shows $2100 but their site has it on sale for $1700. I don't think I can swing it right now, but I'm very tempted to say screw it and join the drop. As my collection grows, I'm getting more adamant about the need for a winder. I used to see it as a luxury, but it's clearly not.
