Great! but also snug
While this is a great peacoat, it is a bit snug. I'm 6' and weigh 230 pounds (not athletically built unfortunately) and I bought a size 48; I should've bought a size 50. (If you're on the thinner side, I doubt you'd need to size up.) In case you're reading this in the future and this drop is unavailable, you may see that the max size is 48. However, I can verify that this drop has also been offered in a size 50 as well.

Buying anything online is always a worry but this purchase was exactly what I hoped it would be. Excellent quality and design, a great fit and a pleasure to wear. However I'm now hoping that winter here in Australia will be cold enough to wear it frequently and enjoy its benefits. Yes, a point I noticed below is that it is somewhat snug fitting which I actually enjoy. I do wonder what it would be like if I'd got a size bigger. And it does need a bit of wearing in I suspect to soften it up. Another Massdrop success.

Great coat. Fit is a bit snug. I'd recommend sizing up. But, even though its snug, it is a great coat. It needed a bit of breakin and it's good to go.. I pretty much wear the coat every day. Would buy again. But definitely, confirm the size and go up one.

Kind of loose in the waist region. It's a very straight fit with no taper between shoulders and waist. So if you're square shaped or have a few extra pounds you should be okay but if you have a more athletic build then I would recommend maybe going a size smaller

Beautifully made an d designed. My only i ssue was with the sizing. I bought the largest size-48 and it is a close fit. A better description in the drop would have been helpful. Will be great for what winter we hav e in Australia.

Heavyweight. When I bought this I worried it would be a more traditional option compared to my existing John Varvatos peacoat, but while they are both handsome coats that get compliments and questions, the John Varvatos must have been designed for a Los Angeles winter, whereas this one stands up in a New York winter. I haven't tried it in the snow, but on New Year's Eve in the cold and rain by the water in Brooklyn nothing got through. Wearing this has taught me to take the name 'Armor Lux' at face value.
