I've just listed a Navy size 44 from the last drop on eBay—it's a beautiful coat but unfortunately doesn't fit me. http://ebay.us/dvgCmc?cmpnId=5338273189

For $200 you're better off with JCrew ones. Could probably find them cheaper. And shipping Apr 1? Might as well hold off till Spier & Mackay release their winter coats this year.
is this a joke? Ships on April 1st, at which point it's far too warm to wear a pea coat in most parts of the US.

Did this when from 150 to 200 between the last drop a couple of months ago vs. the current?

To anyone who bought one from a previous drop, is the outer actually 100% wool according to the tag? What about a lining? If it's lined, is it a thin lining for comfort, or is it insulated and quilted?

JamMastaJewIt says 100% boiled wool. I don't think they would lie about that. My issue with the wool is it gathers a ton of lint. Which is strange, since my other wool coats don't really do.

If anyone has a 50 (navy preferably) and wants a 48, I'd be happy to swap. Otherwise, if I can't exchange it, it'll be on ebay.

Horse96I’m thinking about buying a 48. I usually wear a large or a 42 sport coat. Do you think 48 would be a correct size?

John220You can buy mine? I'd go with your chest measurement. The 48 is the top end for a 46 inch chest. The 50 would fit me better. So for you, the 48 would fit well if you were going to layer. Which I would advise for colder weather. What's your chest measurement? The coat fits quite slim.

Mine fits very well, good sleeve length and 46 fits just right. Could be slightly more fitted but the inner pockets would probably protrude too much if it was any tighter, and that's without a second layer underneath (just a tee shirt). Very well made, going to be great in winter.

Damn. I just got my coat. I ordered a 48 and it's a tad too small. I am a 46 for a sports/suit jacket. Shoulda got a 50.
