I'm new at this all so be kind. ;)
Um how long does it usually take for a purchased item to get shipped? Like for instance a...watch? Does it have to close out and there are no longer any sales before it gets shipped?

Gretschguy1637With normal drops, I usually see Drop ship things out about 5-15 days after the "Estimated ship date," assuming they arrive at Drop on time. With drops like this, where Drop says "ships within 1 business day," they almost always ship within 1-2 business days...
... except for COVID-19. Drop changed the ship date from "1 business day" to April 6. The manufacturer, the shipping companies, and Drop itself are having to do more work with fewer people, so I wouldn't rely on any of them for accurate timing predictions.

Gretschguy1637Hi, I thought I would give you my experience with the last 7 watch orders from Drop, during the last 12 months. It seems you might be in UK. I am in Australia so probably equal distance fro Drop in San Francisco(I think), although it does appear that a lot of watches ship from New York(DHL tracker is very good). But I am pleased to say that 6 of my watches appeared a lot earlier than the ship date, even two or three days before the due shipment, three were dead on 8 days after ship date ;which is to be expected and only one was later being 14 days after ship date. I know many other members have had inconsistencies, but the fact that I may be one of the furthest away to post to makes me quite impressed with their efficiency. I am now awaiting a berate of comments; but honestly this customer has no complaints with shipping except the final courier here does not give you any notice in the tracking as to exactly which day it will be at your front door; in fact they do tell you when it was delivered as on four occasions this was done 3 days later!! Good luck this also seems to be a very well priced capable sports/work watch; would very well suit first responders.

Gretschguy1637Sorry Gretcshguy1637, had a closer look at your tag; thought it was a union jack at first glance and that's what may have concerned you with shipping issues; it's obviously not. So you should have really no shipping issues as I hear nothing stops the US mail service, just ask Kevin Costner!! Regards.
