I purchased the full sized, black dial Officer's Model with day and date display a little less than a year ago. While it is huge and thick, I don't think I'll be able to break it! (Not that I try, I just work under very demanding conditions!)
I visited the Armourlite booth at the SHOT show earlier this year and there was a young lady with a watch on the bench, whacking it all day long with a ball peen hammer! I think she got tired by the last day of the show (I would have been) as she wasn't whacking it any more, but the watch was still on the bench, keeping time! (I noted the time on the watch compared to mine on Tuesday, then again on Friday.)
So if you are rough on watches, this is the watch for you! Plus, the Armourlite folks will bend over backwards to make certain you are satisfied as a customer!

Thanks, appreciate it. I was considering to go in for a black one (really like the design and perfect for my job as humanitarian field worker) but it says "ships to the US" only. No way to ship it to Congo where I work, or to my parent's place in Belgium? :(

AleskbHi Aleskb, I'm not sure why it's limited to US this time. All of our other drops are offered for international shipping. Massdrop makes this determination. I would say to try to order it with the foreign address to see what it says.

Got the cream color dial and love it. Have a seiko dive watch I was trying to wear with dress shirts but the dial is too bulky. This watch is just skinny/round enough to fit nicely. Customer service has been on point, quick and very responsive.
Actual watch is the perfect balance of simplicity, sturdiness, and style. Think you really could wear it anytime other than really formal outfits. Haven’t swam with it but the screw down crown is reassuring and I’m sure it will perform well.
Tritium is the real reason I got this. First tritium watch and I’m very satisfied. I knew it wouldn’t be blindingly bright and think the lume is just right. Fading lume on my other watches really grinds my gears, and it is truly delightful glancing over at this guy on my nightstand, steadily shining alllll night.

First day wearing the tan face with leather strap combo, and man does it look good! Very comfortable to wear, walked, biked and went to church, fits in everywhere. I used some leather strop conditioner on it to make the leather band a little more pliable and more likely to contour faster. So far, lovin' it!

I received my watch today. I got the black one. It looks great. I was not expecting screw pins and only had one 1.5mm hex key, so it took a trip to the hardware store to get a second set of metric allen keys. I've got a NATO strap on it now and it looks good and is also much lighter.
I am happy with the watch and the drop.
