Just got mine. One of the better 18650 headlamps for sure. I got warm, but it is definitely a neutral not warm. Hard to find a legitimate warm headlamp. Definitely too bulky for EDC use as well though which is unfortunate. It is bulkier in person. Some of the other 18650 headlamps are more compact but equally capable for light output. The 2000 lumens turbo 2 is definitely overrated and not ANSI standard. I've noticed that manufacturers like to overrate turbo modes consistently especially ArmyTek. Worth the discounted price, but there are better options out there for a little more. The beam is a cross between focus and flood. If you want to see far away, you waste a ton of battery, but if you want to see close up, it isn't wide enough. Depending on your uses, this might work well if you don't care about power conserving and don't need to do inspection work.
Just got mine yesterday. Very nice little flashlight, bright enough when absolutely necessary and while there was a problem with a protected circuit battery (Turbo2 Mode was drawing too much through it, tripping the protection and shutting down the battery, the user manual talks about this and preventing it by using an unprotected 18650) I have that resolved and am happily using my Armytek Wizard Pro XHP50 V3.
Another CRAPTEK flashlight made in Canada!?, Born to exceed!, made by intergalactic space heroes out of 100% pure Unobtanium!
Did I get that right or have you now moved your manufacturing plant from the claimed Canada to the International Space Station? Just wondering lol.
Last drop of these i ordered one as a christmas present for my dad. After waiting for over a month and 4 days before christmas i get an email from massdro that says, item never made it out of the US (i live in australia) and it was returned to sender so here is your refund.
Fuck you guys, bought one on ebay for cheaper with free express shipping which made it to me before christmas.
Yea but after contacting them previous to there email about the refund. I asked about my order and what the go was with it. Asked about the tracking all to no response from Massdrop. My intial concern was it wasnt going to get here before christmas so i was trying to confirm this so i could order from a different outlet to make sure it was.. never got a reply from Massdrop untill 4 days out from christmas where they didnt even acknowledge my intial emails. It was just an automated response. I contscted them again asking for some more information on the matter and still...no response.
You entitled to your own opinion as am i..and i say fuck them.
Nick89I understand the time constraint concern.
It was the holiday's and we all know from experience they don't always go as planned. Not an excuse for not replying.
It really sucks they never responded. I mean that. You've made up your mind and rightfully so to yourself. Take care.
