How thick is the table top? And how much does the table top weigh? Not the entire desk just the wood top?
Could I mount a clamp style monitor arm anywhere I like along the back of the desk without issue? I've seen clamp monitor arms destroy cheaper desks and dent sturdier ones.
I would be clamp mounting a heavy 34 inch ultrawide monitor and a 27 inch.

Brian.MI don't have the technical specifications you're asking for, but I do have a 27" and a 24" monitor mounted to the center grommet, and another 24" mounted to its normal stand all sitting on this desk just fine. Doesn't even wobble (well, maybe a little bit if you start smashing it with your fists) once you adjust the levelers just right. To speak subjectively, the top doesn't weigh that much; it's the metal frame that gives this desk its 100lb+ weight. The desktop itself is MDF, I believe, and comes in three segments each of which was not very heavy. But they did feel sturdy, for what that's worth.
But DO NOT mount something that heavy on the left or right grommet. Only use the center one otherwise you will fuck the desk up, according to Scott and I definitely believe it. Maybe if you wanted to mount a boom mic or something that would be fine, but for monitors stick to the center.
That said, the width of the desktop was actually slightly thinner than the range that my mount said it required but they all pretty much require the same thickness. This desk does not hit that level of thickness, unless you count the mat on it as well, which you could I guess since you have to mount it with the mat on unless you want to modify the mouse mat.
Here's what I have sitting on mine regularly: https://i.imgur.com/ctSqzEi.jpg
