After the desk is assembled, can I adjust the desk height after putting the computer onto the desk?
EevelutionZEevelutionZ, Yes you absolutely can adjust it and placing items on the desk. If you have equipment on the desk you will need assistance in holding the desk at the correct height while adjusting it. (This is actually recommended whether you have equipment on the desk or not) For proper ergonomics of any adjustable desk you should first adjust your chair.
  1. Adjust the height of the chair so that your legs are at a 90 degree angle without too much pressure under your thighs and your feet are flat on the floor.
  2. Adjust your armrest so that when sitting in an upright comfortable position your arms are also at a 90 degree angle.
  3. Adjust the height of the desk to match the height of the armrest. So you have a flat surface from the tops of your armrest to the top of the desk. This will allow for a flat working environment which will reduce the stress on your wrist.
  4. Adjust the height of your monitor so that the middle of your monitor is at eye level. This will reduce the amount of head motion required during use. (which ultimately reduces neck strain)
I hope this helps! Cheers.

Tex-ArozziThe actual recommendation for eye level is for the monitor to be centered on the bottom of your nose, or more simply to align your eyes to reach about the 1/3 from the top position. If possible you should keep the screen tangent to your face (90° flush) so it actually points at your nose / chin. This allows your eyes to rest in their natural slightly downward canted angle (your eyes typically focus about two meters ahead at waist height when completely idle). This position will put even strain over all muscles that rotate your eyes, rather than over-straining the upper muscles. As an odd note, lower-FOV LCD screens ate designed to accommodate this specific positioning so you see the most accurate colors when aligned this way. It's not much of an issue these days with viewing angles reaching 130° on the average gaming monitor though. The More You Know ★!
