Is there an option to get this with wheels on the bottom rather than posts? I would like to be able to wheel this out of the way when not in use. Otherwise - have you tried using "magic sliders" on them to see if it slides ok? 40lbs is fairly hefty.

ProtonusDitto on the question, I'm thinking of having this in my vr room (where the monitor/computer and such are in the closet) and it would be nice to be able to move this out of the way of the vr space easily.
ProtonusIt folds down pretty compactly, or conversely, can be taken apart to be stored if it is too heavy. We could maybe look into some sort of accessory but the fact of the matter is, you have to reach a minimum threshold of sales to make something like that available and once people get the reality that this is pretty easy to hide away, I don't think that would happen.

ArozziScottDoes this slide around pretty easily with the chair or does it need to be disconnected from the chair and the castors replaced on the chair for it to fold up?

ArozziScott@ArroziScott - I didn't see any pictures in the drop of how this folds up , or what it looks like folded, got any pictures of that?
Replacement wheels as an accessory would work for me.
I would also love to see an option or accessory for a universal mounting plate, for a normal car seat. I've got an old Corbeau I'm gonna use this with.. but I've gotta find an old office chair to take the base off of to mount to this. Would be great instead, if there was a universal mounting plate with a slide, so you can move the seat up/down/back/forth.
tlmotorsportSorry, I did not say "fold up" I said, "folds down" by which I meant that the parts compress back together after using to become a much smaller footprint and should be easy for most people to store away in a closet or similar space. Of course, the chair must be removed for that. I apologize if that led to any misunderstanding.
