I bought this awesome chair through massdrop.com about two years ago. Covering and padding is in GREAT shape and looks like I've barely sat in it. One issue however. The piston that fits into the bottom legs has slowly sunk through the hole until it now hits the floor. Thus it catches the carpet and also sits almost two/three inches lower than it used to on the highest setting. Too low for me, being 6'4". I can't pull it back out and even if I could I am not sure how to avoid it dropping back down immediately.  Anyone have an idea for a fix or will the company help me out? Could probably take a hammer to it (rubber mallet is unsuccessful so far) but that might shatter the plastic. Seems odd that there wouldn't be a notch or step in the piston to avoid this scenario.

sturm21Unfortunately the company wants to charge me $120 to replace the piston and base as I am two months past the warranty. No explanation of how this defect would not just lead to the same issue. I have to say I no longer recommend the chair.

sturm21Yeah Arozzi is just another cheap made in China chair and rebranded as their own. One of their older chairs I got from here lasted 2 or so years and I went to lean back one day and ended up back wards kicking half my desk in the air. Hyper extended my pinky and ring finger, felt like I snapped them and I broke my little toe and toe beside it. the issue that caused the result, the leg ripped right off the base. The base was metal, folded sheet metal of some sort. in all honesty. If you’re a calm simpleton who will never weigh more than 120 lbs, sure go ahead knock your socks off, get this chair. But if you have any self respect, just spend the money and get a secret labs chair.
