This is a good deal for this chair. I paid $100 more in the October drop last year, but such is the nature of things.
However, I have not enjoyed the chair and would not purchase it again. Specifically for this chair, the seat padding leaves much to be desired and becomes uncomfortable after a few hours. It is somewhat thin and compacts easily.
The bolsters feel too narrow and do not allow for any flexibility in seating position (tucking leg under etc.). I think this is a design issue of this style of racing inspired chair regardless of manufacturer, which I wasn't aware of prior to owning one. I was drawn in by the style, but practically, I don't enjoy it. That's my subjective opinion so your mileage may very, but not pleased with mine after ~8 months of use.
SoundbearThanks for your feedback. Sorry to hear you are unhappy. Of course, as you say, seating is very subjective. It sounds like the chair might be a little snug for your body type.
ArozziScottYeah it's definitely a subjective experience. As for body type and helping people make informed decisions, I'm 5'11", 150 with relatively narrow hips. Pretty typical gangly dude stature.
