I got my chair around a month ago, and the box was not in terrible shape, but I would not say it was in good shape either. It took about 15 minutes to put together and I have had no issues with anything whatsoever. Many have said they have had wobble issues with the armrests, mine do not wobble one bit. It does take around a week for the chair to mold to you, but after that it is very nice. For 149$ this is a very good choice.
