I am trying to decide between this chair and the other one currently being offered AKRacing ProX why should I buy this one over the other one. Obviously the price is a lot better but is the quality comparable?

TFalconI generally don't comment or compare with other brands. I let them talk about themselves and I'll talk about Arozzi. But, by quality, I am not sure what you mean exactly. That's a chair that has an MSRP of $499 and the Verona has an MSRP of $299. And Verona is a very good chair and comparable in quality to any chair I know in its price range and is a total steal at the price MD is selling for. But I suspect it would be very difficult to say it compares well to a chair retailing for $200 more.

TFalconPersonally, I would go with this chair as it is simpler. All those bells and whistles just add an extra layer of complexity and potential points of failure. The big factor in my mind would be your weight. These chairs can handle up to 290 lbs. (for the Pro) and the AKRacing ProX can handle up to 330lbs. Personally, as I am right in between, I'd rather go for the Arozzi and lose the 20 lbs while I wait for it to arrive ;)

ArozziScottYou get what you pay for. The question is, do you want a great $299 chair or a great $499 chair. I wouldn't expect the manufacturer to say "Yes, their chair is better than ours" but it may very well be. An extra $200 can buy a lot of bells and whistles. Props to ArozziScott for skillful and honest handling of an inherently awkward question.
