Just a question, for the leather strapped aprons, are the straps removable for washing purposes? It looks like they're removable from the picture but I'd just like to confirm. Thanks.

I just bout the Outset leather BBQ Apron for $30 from Wegmans (Grocery Store chain, east coast). Even if it wasn't less expensive than this (which it was), no wait and being able to try it on first made it a no-brainer. Matching gloves for $13 bucks more (still less than just this apron) sweetened the deal. I guess what I'm saying is, if you live near a Wegmans, there are way better options.

The detail photo with the model shows criss cross straps, but the individual photos seem to show neck loops. I'd really prefer leather criss cross.

I would like to echo the concerns about sizing. At checkout there are no options. Is this supposed to be a one size fits all kind of drop?

I've been looking for an apron like this. I wish this had more pockets. The feature that is pushing me towards buying is the removable leather straps for laundering.

In which size are the leather strap aprons offered? I went to the Artifact Bag Co. website and they're offered in XS-XL.

MisterPhotonThe sizing is important, especially since the Artifact Bag Co. website has different size ranges depending on the model, and different measurement points depending on the model (waist and hip two numbers for one, "lower" waist and hip single measurement for another, up to LG for one, XL for another).

I've been looking for aprons for my chefs.
Granted I would prefer oil and water resistance.
But the button leather fasteners are a solid selling point.
