Really vivid colors and font, with super smooth and solid feel
They actually took me some getting used to, as the colors are far more vivid than the NPKC and Backlit Doubleshot gradient sets I've gotten from Drop previously, and the font is far bolder than the NPKC gradients that just got cancelled (which, frankly, I would've preferred). They're also really smooth-feeling, fairly low-profile, and narrower at the keytops compared to the stock keycaps they replaced on my IKBC Typeman W210 Wireless keyboard. But I have to say, they're really grown on me -- I'm loving them.
Great color, quality, feel and finish. Manufactured *very* tight though.
These keycaps look amazing, the photos don't do them justice. A very smooth/matte finish. I was a bit concerned because I generally like the "rougher" texture that some keycaps offer. But these keycaps changed my mind -- they don't feel cheap like most smooth ABS keycaps do.
One negative however, is that the keycaps fit very tight. This is great for minimizing keycap wobble, and it's not too bad for the single unit keys. However, for larger keys (especially the spacebar) I was scared of crushing/snapping my switch stems while installing. I had to put the spacebar in boiling water (and thoroughly dried it off) before it fit.
Purchase these if you don't plan on switching your keycaps very often. I can't imagine what a task it would be to remove the spacebar...
Also, the keycaps scratch somewhat easily, so try to be careful with them.
Still an amazing looking set, I don't intend on removing them any time soon.
Bought for my wife. I installed the caps for her and could not help to be impressed by quality, especially for price. She recieves compliments on caps often.
I love the colors on these keys, but they were tooo slick for my taste. I have very dry hands so if you're not a dried up crust of a human, you might not notice.
Overall these are very cute caps - but not as solid feeling construction as I was hoping. Not flimsy by any means but very light weight and echo-y to type on. I also think the arrow key colors are a bit of a bad choice as they aren't very smooth looking for the side of the board they sit on.
varying profiles on different keycaps and lighting in picture is misleading
The profile on the delete key is much higher than the surrounding keys. I've triple checked the set - there's only one standard delete key with one profile. Wonder why when there's different profiles for other keys? Actually, delete, enter, right shift, left shift are all different profiles from the rest. And there's not additional keycaps for these keys. Also, I changed my backlight to white so I could actually see the color of the keys and it's all very washed out now and you can see where the LEDs are.
I guess I can't complain much for the amount of money spent though. Glad I bought them on sale.
