Product Description
Designed by Ray Laconico, the Artisan Centauri is cut from a different cloth. Unlike a traditional flipper tab, it features a flipper that’s built into the spine of the blade, which opens by rolling a thumb over the jimped tang (similar to how you’d ignite a lighter) Read More

So nice design from Laconico and well executed by Artisan Cutlery
A super folding, strong and razor-sharp. I really like its design and the pinball front is very functional. Everything is fluid. I don't regret my money

It's awesome!
Carbon Fiber with Damascus blade. Such a killer looker! Slices well. Excellent tip! Almost too beautiful to use regularly! One of my favorites in my collection!

Happy for the price
I like most of Liconico's designs. This one is very light for the size...mine has the carbon fiber show side. The action is fantastic and the blade weight allows it to drop shut. Not super sharp, but hey, that's why I bought a Wicked Edge!

My best front-flipper to date.
One of the more experimental designs from Ray Laconico, the Centauri is a study in great front-flipper geometry, slightly (only slightly) let down by the thickness of the grind. The blade steel (in this case, demascus) itself is beautiful and subtle in its pattern. Overall carry is good and while not deep-carry, offers a thin profile for the pocket. The micarta scale is well-textured and should be prone to patina as it's used. Mine is already showing a deep coloring, demarcating my grip. Lovely, IMHO. Overall a great knife, and while slightly large for my personal liking, it pairs well with another 5th-pocket knife, as I would be reluctant to offer it up for someone else to use.
