For a little more money one can buy an M390 version "Ravine." $180 however is not a bad price for what you're getting from DROP.
And no, I'm not selling my ARKTIKA and Pretorian! Most of Medford's are D2, a much cheaper steel than s35vn, and certainly much cheaper than M390. but D2 happens to be a great, high performance steel - don't cut yourselves with it! You can spend a little more and get other steels from Medford. He thinks it's a waste of money.
You can also bet that when the origins are not specified, they are from the Orient.
