What's the purpose of the groove along the top of the blade? Won't it just create resistance when slicing through material?

Forest_MoonI really think it's just ascetic fullering , it could be a nail nick / pinch opener , but I think it's just form over function. Have to wait for the reviews to start coming in.

OmniseedI don't know, after watching a review on LTK it seems to have a pretty weak detent ! Don't know if that helps or hinders a spidey flick ! You can definitely wrist flick it !
