Product Description
Styled like a balisong knife, the Artisan Cutlery Kinetic Tool is as fun to play with as it is handy on the job. Built with a titanium handle, it opens and closes just like a butterfly knife—only when you open this one, you won’t find a blade, but rather a 3.9-inch multi-tool Read More

Good
I like it. Feels better in the hand than the steel / carbon fiber version.

johnkim1000As an adult, you'd be surprised how infrequently flipping a balisong tool actually comes up.

A very interesting concept-design piece. Not only is it a butterfly style knife, but also doubles as a button release switch blade. Thankfully, due to the fact that it does not actually have a blade it is considered a tool than a weapon, so it should be legal in all states to my knowledge. (please double check before purchasing the item, i'm not an expert only a product reviewer. Overall a decent conversation piece, but I don't see myself carrying one with my anytime soon.

It's a cool gadget, and quite innovative. But as a butterfly trainer it's mediocre. Feels a bit sloppy and poorly balanced (tool/blade is too heavy for the handles). Can't really recommend as it's barely a tool and there's other butterfly bottle openers out there (the only useful part of the tool). Love the concept of a hybrid butterfly/automatic knife. Interesting and I can't say I regret buying it, but not worth the money and I wouldn't recommend, unless you really like the novelty factor.
