Like a boxcutter on steroids, the Artisan Cutlery Proponent is a proponent of getting things done fast. This nearly 10-inch folder is built like a tank. It features a 4-inch blade made from tough D2 steel with a stonewashed finish to hide nicks and scratches. The blade rides on ceramic ball bearings, which allows it to open and close effortlessly with a simple press on the thumb stud. To prevent accidental closure when you’re hard at work, the Proponent is backed by a solid liner lock. Finally, this beefy folder comes with your choice of G-10 or carbon fiber scales to match your existing carry.
