Everything I had expected it to be
The quality and feel of this knife is terrific. The heft is substantial so no carrying in your trackies around the house opening up all those online purchases during COVID isolation. Chinese made, so far it hasn't disappoint. Ran the blade a few times on my ceramic steel and it's honed to equivalent one of my med level range kitchen knives. The carbon handle is a bit sharp around the edges but it doesn't hinder the use of the knife. It looks great too. Overall a good product.

Big, unique, solid. Love it.
I bought this knife because it looked like something different, and I wanted a larger knife... But this thing is even bigger than I expected. It's solid and bulky, almost to the point of being ridiculous, but that's why I bought it. Absolutely love this thing.

massive!
This is probably the most extreme folding knife I have ever owned and carried. Despite it's bulk though, it rides comfortably in my pocket and its opening and closing is smooth and precise. I have owned other Artisan pieces and this is by far my favorite!

That is A LOT of Steel!
I didn't check the specs to be honest, and I just bought it thinking it'll be something like Tuff Lite. I was wrong, and I am so happy that I was. Over the past short years of collecting knives, I've sort of gotten used to the unimpressive value of $50-ish knives, but I stuck to it for the low-risk aspect of it. Little bit below the sweet spot I'd say, but it's safe to play in. Anything below, I get something like Gerber and CRKT, which usually need a lot of tweaking to feel great in hand. So when the package showed up today, I opened it without expecting much. And there was a HUGE chunk of metal encased in beautifully machined G10 handle, which flicked opened with an EXTREMELY satisfying "KA-CHUNK". No more words needed. Just LOVE IT. I don't know who Artisan Cutlery had to torture to make this happen, but please keep doing it.

HHHHUGE.
Regret hesitating and being stuck with the carbon fiber scales. Not that they are bad but they lack the machining and texture of the G10. First off, this is much larger than I had imagined. I do recall thinking the blade length stated was longer than it looked in the images but neglected to really check out the rest of the specs and was expecting something like my Spyderco Yojimbo2... wrong! I was close to passing on yet another cheap Chinese knife but the design was both unusual and attractive enough to pull the trigger after seeing most of the others in this price range had sold out fast. This thing is a monster. Blade stock is really thick. Everything is big, even the thumb studs and clip. It was probably due to everything being in equal proportion that tricked my eyes into imagining something much more svelte. Frankly, like most of the cheap Chinese knives sold here the fit and finish is astonishing. No machine marks, perfect centering, finely finished blade. Would prefer more of a matte finish on the scales but that is really nitpicking considering the entire package for the money. I'm really pleased these companies have chosen D2 over some entry level stainless. D2 has a great balance of properties including edge holding and toughness. An under rated steel, especially considering price. I would rate it just as high as a VG10 or N690 seen on much higher priced knives. Holding it, this thing filles your grip giving plenty of leverage to control the monster blade. End of review for now.

A very unusual, well made, beast!
Great knife for the collection, but wow, what a hefty beast. The spine of the blade is the thickest of any I own; almost a mini hatchet! Very unusual. All that said, feels great in the hand and the notched and textured G10 contribute to that. Quality assembly, flipper tab activates smoothly and came sharp, sharp.
