Well executed. Heavy knife with its purpose in mind. Feels good in even smaller hands. But it is a heavy worker. Not for the EDC. Unless you are a big guy and can flip it like it’s nothing.
BruceJSame issue with my Artisan Osprey. The kids in the mall parking lot may be impressed, but this brand does not strike me as being a very serious one.
Fun to play with. I still giggle a little when that heavy blade locks out. Falls open too easily from new. A pivot tighten may help. Can't see me doing any heavy cleavering with it tho. Good for the price.
Overall, very pleased with this knife. Fit and finish are top notch, but today the clip broke on me while carrying. That was a huge bummer. Now I need to figure out how to get the clip replaced.
8000xxx1984Disagree - most other Chinese brands at $30 and up offer much higher quality fit and finish than Artisan. My Osprey came with a stained blade and flops open with the slightest inversion. Glad your example from this brand is satisfactory, but try a Ruike or RAT to see what quality cheap Chinese brands can offer!
