I absolutely love the smaller version of this knife. 2.95 inch blade, but still nice large handle. Great for big hands.

I have owned the artisan shark In s35vn as well as the Zumwalt contoured g10 and ended up selling both as I found them to be thick in the handle and kind of bulky in the pocket. If the shark didn't have such a thick blade stock and thick handle I probably would've held onto it as I did like it otherwise. They are well-made knives and have a good action but I prefer bestech, Kizer, and Civivi over artisan cutlery for budget china produced folders. They tend to fit my preferences better. Now artisans titanium models look really nice but I don't know if they suffer from the same pocket hog syndrome. For this particular wren model it's a little hefty for my tastes as i don't generally EDC anything over about 4 1/4 ounces and that's usually for a larger knife 3 1/2 to 4 inch blade. I like to stick between 3-4 ounces preferably. I do own a few heavier folders but I find they don't get near as much pocket time so I have to really like the knife to buy it.

When I hear the name "wren" I think of light and delicate. Not a 3.5 inch blade 5.5 oz pocket anchor. Hey Artisan Cutlery marketing department - you guys needs to learn about birds before you name your knives.

What the heck is the difference between the Ti blue and green models, and the "fancy" blue and green models?

I almost bought this knife until I got to the specs. The size/weight is significant. Looks nice though.

Good looking knife. I’m not crazy about ceramic bearings, but I’m considering it.

From the photos it looks to be reversible from side to side.
