Love this pad, was looking to snag another one but they simply don't exist anywhere anymore. Even Artisan's website doesn't have them in stock. :( It's a shame.

Any chance you can purchase 31 so I can get one haha?
We are extending this drop through the long weekend as this will not affect shipping times (everybody is celebrating) and it gives the opportunity for more people to join.
Happy Independence Day

the difference between vertical and orizzontal glide is uge in this mousepad.. avoid if you don't like that =D

RazorI can see why...the Hayabusa tries its hand at speed, and the name translates to peregrine falcon which is known for its vertical hunting dive speed of 290 to 325 Km/h (they say this is the fastest of any bird at diving). From this, I can probably assume that the vertical glide is the faster one, and that the difference in glide is probably intentional (quite likely for a company that has such an attention to detail)

Genkishi569The vertical glide is slower than the horizontal on Hayabusa and Hien, maybe in other Artisan's pads :)

FuruyaThank you, I've seen this already myself. I might add that none of these include the ADNS 3310 sensor, but many of these have the 3090. Nothing tested for the sensor that my mouse has... I might just go for the Shiden Kai drop. I want both!

Mav3rick...I think this was google translate. The company isn't known for it's english, believe me. I've seen their site, but at least they try to cater to the international market. Let's give them points for that

I hear Artisan pads despite their unquestionable quality catch dirt real quick. (It reflects in a recommendation in their site where they say you should replace it every 3 months) The claim is in the last sentence in this maintenance guide: http://www.artisan-jp.com/artisan_maint_eng.html Ultimately, I bought the Roccat Hiro because of that very cleaning and maintenance problem. I can clean the Hiro whichever way I want, and it's not a problem since it's a hydrophobic material and will remove the superficial dirt rather quickly and a quick wipe and it's good to go, plus the tapered edges are still much better than non-tapered ones.

uuuhhhhmmm...it depends on your lifestyle. I gamed pretty heavily back then so I needed something that would last. Roccat Taito died in a few weeks (frayed, and peeled off). Artisan pads were too prone to sweat and dirt. So the logical choice for "me" was something that could be washed on the fly, and was tapered so it wouldn't fray. Honestly, not all people have the same priorities so if you're happy with the PowerRX, that's your cost-benefit analysis. Mine ended with the Roccat Hiro, and it was a steal. It's price was about $35 (brand new). If you want a bargain, don't look at the MSRP. Look for a deal. I looked hard. I got what I wanted for a price I didn't think was possible.
