PURPStheillestPadding is pretty good. You know "the gamer mark" that most PC gamers have on their mouse wrist? Mine disappeared a few months after switching over to an Artisan Kai Hien pad (was using a SteelSeries QcK+ prior to that).
Three-hour sessions are absolutely fine, no comfort issues there (provided you're using the right mouse for your grip style). They don't slip, have a lot of space for maneuverability and feel amazing once it's broken in.
As I said in a comment above, I hear the Hayate is a lot better and at this price I'm finding it hard to resist even though my Hien is still in very good condition despite it being years old.
If you're on the fence, just get it. You won't be disappointed.
sawedustI've used a Steelseries QcK+ for more than a year, logged more than 2000 hours of gaming and never had the "gamer mark". I changed the a $15 shipped monoprice mousepad and still doesn't have that problem.
This pad is quite expensive for the size and won't be much upgrade from a QcK+ or equivalent.
