Anyone report and update back on the quality/durability of these? Story goes these start to break down after 3 months.

GeoggaI've had mine since the last drop. It's started to get fibers coming out of it now after about 6 months I'd like to say. That being said it is still the best mousepad that I have used.

suparnemoI see, so the rumors were somewhat true. Can you answer some questions?
Have you tried to cut them with an xacto knife or is it in the middle of the pad? How do you clean and maintain it? Other than the fibers, does it still feel (in regards to gliding and stopping) near new condition?
I have the QCK small and I need something bigger, was wondering if I should just get a bigger QCK or this. Its hard to clean the qck for me after 3 years of just using it day by day. Thanks and sorry for the long post.

GeoggaThe fibers are basically dust that gets stuck in the pad. It is hard to clean. I usually just use a cloth and water. Cutting it out won't really help. It doesn't affect the glide much, but my mouse is picky and doesnt track the best on it sometimes.

suparnemoI read the maintenance guide on their website and it seems a washdown will do. Which mouse do you have?
Now I'm stuck between how soft and how hard it is...

GeoggaZowie FK is what I use. The maintenance is pretty good to follow. Just as long as you don't live in a too dusty area it'll last a while. I'm thinking I'll get the mid.
