Minimalist Design
A minimalist mouse pad that allows for maximum performance, the Artisan Hayate OTSU Mouse Pad provides a smooth surface optimized for mouse movement. It features a top layer, constructed out of anti-slip polyester texture, and chosen for its ultra thin yarn. When compared to the prevailing thick nylon pads, polyester allows for a lighter glide and is not affected by sweat or humidity.
Note: On this drop you can choose between Medium and Large (+$10). You may also choose between Extra Soft, Soft, and Middle hardness. This drop is for the Japan Violet color and limited to 135 units.
Form and Construction
The surface features a Japan Violet exterior (dark black with purple undertones), colored with pigment ink instead of dye ink to avoid the inconsistencies and bumps that bad dye jobs bring. Moving to the middle, the Hayate features single bubble rubber foam for a thin cushion that provides a little bounce back. Down at the bottom, anti-slip embossing ensures that the mouse pad stays exactly where it should. Granting fast initial motion, complete stop control, and minimal lift off distance, the Artisan Hayate OTSU is a prime option.
