i play at 360/8.5cm. i play recon/sniper role in FPS. i rarely have to make swipes, and usually rely on precise, tiny movements. avior 7000 (optical sensor). I know my Propus 380 isn't great with my mouse, and it's a hard-platicky mousepad. if no one has seen a comparison on the Artisan pads that's not in japanese, can someone recommend what kind of Artisan pad is best for me? I've read about many people vouching for the Hayate, but the same people happen to play with higher (360/20+cm) sensitivity.

inspectordetectori've also found that... but nothing in that review tells me anything that can attribute to tracking tiny movements... i suppose a smooth cloth pad (not rough, which is what I see the Hien is in comparison to all Artisan pads) would be my first bet..
