Just got my order: I usually wear a size 30 and got a size 29 assuming the waist would be a 31". as per the sizing chart given by the website.. turns out they don't practice vanity sizing. Really disappointed by this order ... the jeans look good but unfortunately don't fit. Did anybody else who ordered run into the same problem?

gravymonsterThat sucks; I would be disappointed too. Is it possible that they would stretch enough to fit eventually?
My size 28 has these approximate measurements (inches): Waist (measured with waistband aligned at the top): 29.5 Front Rise: 9 Back Rise: 14 Thigh (measured 2" from crotch seam): 20.5 Knee (15" from crotch seam): 14 Leg Opening: 12.5
I was hoping they would fit as they appear in the pictures (which makes them look more like a slim fit), but the legs on my size 28 are much narrower and fit close to skin-tight. I think they still look decent on me though.
The thing that really irks me though is that the patch, while nicely heat-stamped or laser engraved, is screened or heat-transferred to look red and is not actually dyed red. I hate that this corner was cut and would rather have a plain patch (like the brown one pictured) than a cheap looking one. I think the best I can hope for is that the layer will wear away and the leather underneath looks OK.
As for the rest of the jeans, they are pretty nice. The front pockets seem a bit short/shallow, but are deep enough to fit my phone with about an inch to spare. The stitching is good as far as I can tell, and the buttons, rivets, and tucked belt loops look great.

jigglePresumably, they would stretch out.. I sent Massdrop an email with a positive response, so luckily, I won't have to presume! Huge +1 to Massdrop support from me - expect me to be a staunch advocate of Massdrop (both by mouth to friends and by my wallet) in the future. :)
