What's the difference between the black Horween Chromexcel and the black Dublin? The pictures look the same.
I was just about to ask this question as well. Cxl vs Dublin leather anyone?
Sorry about that. Mobile device buggered up the link, which I've updated now.
Super awesome question. The biggest difference is that Horween Chromexcel has a smoother, more polished grain where the Dublin has a very intense grain character. The Chromexcel has a softer handfeel where the Dublin has "veggy bite" (yeah I made up that term) when you hold the wallet. What I mean by "veggy bite" is that it feels like a firmer vegetable tanned leather and has an interesting supple firmness to it. The Dublin is also finished with a hard wax on the surface which creates a brighter luster and a slightly more grey color. Hope this helps!
