Apologies but I would appreciate it if someone would educate me as to why this wallet is worth $140 plus tax/shipping? I purchase leather wallets for about $15-20 of similar design, they last about 2-3 years of hard use. (I have lots of receipts, travel internationally etc.) I am into function and not appearances. Will these wallet last 10 times longer? Do they feel better? I am not being contrary here - just curious about the rationale.

MassDropFanThis wallet will last more than 10 times longer. The leather is smooth and never creases. As far as function: it is as slim as a traditional bill fold will ever get and has a large bill slot (US bills), 6 card slots, and 2 hidden card slots. It will hold a lot! I'm using mine right now with 10 bills, and 16 cards. They are also guaranteed for life -- I (Ashland Leather Co.) will repair or replace if the stitching or construction of the wallet falls apart.
I hope this helps. $140 is a lot to spend on anything. For something you use every day forever, the cost per day is lower. You also support about 150 or so jobs in Chicago when you buy these.
