The description states "The exteriors are carved from Horween’s own Chromexcel recipe, the original pull-up leather. Made from calf, the natural oils and greases cause the color to become lighter in pulled areas. " Shell Cordovan is made from horses. Is the description wrong or is this a chromexcel wallet?

FigureN9neGood notice, yeah I'm inclined to think the description could be wrong, if you look further down the page it states shell cordovan exterior. Moreover the title does say shell cordovan.
Massdrop, ashlandleather could we have some clarifications?

chris_n26These are shell cordovan on the outside, exterior of the wallet. The interior leather leather is a special horsehide made for only us by Horween -- it is inspired by a saddlery leather and is as thin as possible, as durable as possible, and gets better with age.
