The Last Strap You’ll Ever Need

Handcrafted in the USA, these straps are made from some of the best leather in the world: shell cordovan. Taken from horsehide, it’s known for its strength, supple feel, and natural patina. And as you wear your strap, it’ll only get better, developing a patina and an even comfier fit with time. Here, you can grab a two-piece shell cordovan strap in three different colors. The leather is sourced from the famous Horween tannery in Chicago.

Note: At checkout, choose black, color #8, or natural (+ $10) in your choice of width (18–24 mm) and your choice of length (regular 120/80 mm or short 105/70 mm).

The Shell Cordovan Backstory

Shell cordovan is the fibrous flat muscle (or shell) taken from the rear quarters of a horse hide. This rare leather goes through an extensive six-month production process that includes tanning, stuffing, shaving, and polishing. It’s regarded as one of the most durable sources of leather and is sought after for its hand-finished color treatment. Each strap has a unique appearance that comes from the shade of each individual piece of shell cordovan.
