Product Description
New from Ashland Leather, these watch straps are handmade in Chicago by a small team of artisans. They begin with leather that's been hand-selected by company founder Phil Kalas, who works as head of operations at Horween Leather Company Read More
I don't know if this is proper or not but I just received notification from Ashland that their shell cordovan watch straps are currently on sale for $50 off, which is $75 or $85 per strap depending on the color plus free shipping, I think. They also now offer a size that is 105mm/70mm. I ordered black and Color #8 short straps. I guess Ashland listened to us on Massdrop although they are selling them directly now
I have a 22mm Shell No. 8 (new, unused) that I would like to either: (i) sell or (ii) trade for a (new, unused) 20mm Shell No. 8.
I am also looking to buy a 20mm Shell No. 8 from anyone here who finds it too long and did not use the strap .

Got mine yesterday, happy as a clam! It is without a doubt the most comfortable leather strap I have owned. Will be getting a 20mm for my speedy if there is another drop!
It arrived today. Sadly it came with these scuffs. Rather disappointing for a product of this quality and price point. Would cordovan have been better/more durable? Can anything be done to fix or exchange this?
Mine arrived today, Color #8 shell. Obviously will have to see how it wears, but easily the best first impression I've had from any leather strap I've bought (but considering the price point I was hoping for that). Quite impressed -- already hit Request and hoping for another drop.
Incidentally, despite the huge volume of comments in here about sizing, I was in the third hole with a merely average 7" wrist on a 52mm lug length Hamilton Khaki Field. So at least on mine the sizing seemed right on par for an average wrist.
Got mine today. Nice strap, but as others gave pointed out, tremendously long. I have an average wrist and with the strap on a 40mm watch I am still on the smallest hole. Who has these gorilla wrists? I am 6' 185 lbs., hardly a string bean. I still have an extra two whole inches of unused holes. I think they should really reconsider their sizing.
Hello Ashland, wanted to order the chromexcel #8, but noticed a different pic of the strap when selecting vs. the pic that is advertised in the initial page. If possible please let me know the correct image of the particular product. Thank you!
