erickongTrying to understand@CenRewind I think @CenRewind means the plastic center and side pins as 1 and 2. @CenRewind, the number of pins include the 2 metallic contacts, that's why they are referred to as 3 and 5. And yes, there are switches with more pins, but they are not MX compatible. For example, the Kailh Chocs (low-profile) have an extra metallic pin not connected internally that is used for mechanical stability. They work exactly the same and have same qualities as the MX full size: clicky, tactile, linear, low-force, heavies, etc, but they have the pins aligned differently and use different keycaps, rendering them incompatible.
