I got this a few months ago and absolutely love the DAP and the music. The books and micro sd cards are a added bonuses. Amazing sound, regular and balanced, through both 6xx and hifiman 400i. Nirvana!
kenny22I can help. I purchased this on closeout a month or two ago, partly because I was in the market for a high-quality high-res music player, but also for the music included. I have copies already on the unit, and it comes with the tower that has the micro-SD cards each holding a single album, which I've copied over to my high-res folder on my computer. The tracks are in FLAC format, and it's a simple matter to insert the micro-SD card into a card adapter (SD or USB), put it in your computer, and copy the files over to a digital folder. At this point, I'm eager to get the tower/cards out of my house, so if you're interested, make me an offer. If you want the tower (it's heavy), it will be fairly expensive to ship; if you don't want the tower, I can ship the CD-disc sized holders with the micro-SD card and album art in a large box. Full disclosure, there is 1 album that the card could not be read. I can't remember now which one, but just wanted to let you know.
stridermanI looked at several of the albums on hdtracks.com, and the going rate for the hi-res versions is around $18-25. $10 each would be $740 (subtracting for the unreadable album). How would you feel about $500 shipped (without the tower), with the book which I think is still in the original wrapping?
stridermanDon't be scared off by my price...I'm open to negotiating. :) Just FYI, though, I'm leaving the country for about 6 weeks on 3/19. I'm in no hurry to sell, so don't feel any pressure, and if it's something you want to think about until I get back in late April, no problems.
stridermanNo, I don't suppose you need to take all of them, although I'd prefer to keep them all together, either here or with someone else. Like I mentioned, only one of the albums is unreadable, but I can't remember which one (and I don't feel like going through them all to find it). Here's a link to the albums available: https://us.astellnkern.com/products/ak240-blue-note. I would prefer doing all of them, but we could discuss some of them. What albums were you specifically wanting?
schroedkGreetings from Langley, B.C. (near Vancouver) Canada! Do you still have micro-SD card and Blue Note Book? I'd love to put an offer in on them.
Cheers,
Lorne
