I have the AK70 Mark II in the Blue Color and trying sell it for $ 350. Bought it at $ 649 from audio46.com. let me know if any intrested? Only had it for a year and barely used it. I'll include a 128 GB Micro SD card as well.

how are you guys getting away with advertising lower than retail pricing on ak products? we as dealers are held to only advertising at retail prices or we lose our dealership.

i was informed since these are discontinued models they are now no longer held to retail advertising contract. really sucks for dealers still holding stock as i paid more for this wholesale. basically screwing me as an authorized dealer.

I own the standard R6 and it works fine with my IEMs (Fiio F9 Pro), as well as my other headphones such as the HD6XX, DT880s and WM1000XM3. For impedance issues there's always the IEMatch https://ifi-audio.com/products/iematch/ if you need it.
I can't compare sound quality between the R6 and the A&K though as I haven't heard the A&K (the R6 was half the price of the A&K so it was a no-brainer). However I previously owned the Onkyo DP-S1 and thought that it had noticeably better SQ than the R6 - but the UI wasn't as good.

SmithyNZEven the IEM match can present difficulties if you have a low enough impedance... I would also rather not add things to the chain if I don't have to. Thought about switching to a DAP again (stopped when I went V20 for my phone) and the R6 as well as this AK 70 mkII were "in play". In the end I decided the simplicity and full streaming capabilities of the V20 won out (it also received a Tidal update that allows MQA tier 1 unpacking in the mobile app).
