After sending yet another email to Massdrop, this time demanding a refund, I got a reply with a prepaid shipping label for the light that they sent. Says I'll get a refund upon confirmation that it arrived at their warehouse. I'm skeptical as to whether or not they'll actually honor the refund when they receive the return. They havent instilled much confidence so far. I have filed a dispute with PayPal, so I may just wait for the resolution of that before proceeding. I have no intention of keeping this little keychain light though.

TreyGI'd be skeptical about a refund at this point also.
They should issue the refund first and then you return. We paid first, after all.
I'm not expecting anything from MD as they have studiously ignored this for over a week. They nicked me for the USD40 but guess what Massdrop? You lost a fairly frequent customer and made it certain I will give you poor reviews whenever and wherever possible. And the MD white knights need not counsel patience, I was patient. This isn't the day of pen, paper and USPS mail.

Thanks to those of you who brought it to our attention that you received the incorrect flashlight, and our apologies for the inconvenience. We reached out to the vendor to look into this issue but have not heard back. As this vendor is in China and it is currently Chinese New Year, we may not hear back for a month or more.
At this point, because we do not have a clear timeline to source replacements, we would like to offer either (1) a return for refund or (2) a partial refund, along with a $5 Massdrop coupon which will be automatically applied to the next drop you join. Your coupon will appear as a discount on the drop checkout page. Coupons can only be used once, so please note that if the full amount isn’t spent on your next order, there won’t be a remaining balance. This coupon expires one year from today.
Please let us know if you prefer to return the flashlight or receive the partial refund to keep it.
PS: If your case has already been taken care of (by receiving RMA/Refund), please disregard this email.
