Can I have a flat model version?
What are the differences between EARTH and Google Earth? Our EARTH is a combination of hardware and augmented reality. The hardware is a high-quality artwork that is great for enthusiasts' collection. At the same time, our AR app focuses on the information and experience of the Earth's overall changes. It focuses on making you understand the importance and resonance of protecting our home, rather than the collection of encyclopedic knowledge.
EARTH also presents content in a thematic way. We hope to bring deeper thought and resonance to every theme of the future app, such as greenhouse effects, the melting of ice caps, difficult environment for animals, and the weather changes brought by typhoons and more—all this data is different from Google Earth.
Just FYI :)

I read the description and watched the videos before posting my comment. It's a cool use for Augmented Reality for sure. It's just also $170 for a 5-inch 3 pound resin globe. The phone app is available for free on the App Store but only works with their models.

RMaximThat's just a matter of how their business model works. They are using the app to sell the globe, but the sales obviously pay for the globe *and* the app. Not my cup of tea, but I can plainly see it's an entirely different product than Google Earth.
