Intel 8th Gen CPU not worth it. If it were the new AMD ryzen 4900/4800HS it would be. probably cheaper too.

Why buy this when they just released the updated GL704gm. $200 more. And you get a nicer design and small bezels.

Excellent machines - we have used these for years (in their various forms) for our software business. Price is not that great for 16GB/256SSD/1TB HDD. There were much better BF/CM deals for this spec. If you are prepared to buy from a 3rd Party modder (via Amazon) Computer Upgrade Kings do exactly the config you want/need - pricing is in the same realm but they have all the 1060 and 1070 options as well as 32GB options.

I was thinking in joining this drop early and something struck me, now it says gtx 1070 in the overview and gtx 1060 in the specs, whats up with that? if its a gtx 1060, then this is not that much of a deal.

Cferrer1983I was worried about this. The GL703GM-WS71 model is specifically listed with the GTX 1060 in multiple other places.

Looks to me like this was posted with misleading information in the overview. This is still something of a deal with 32gb RAM and 750gb SSD (assuming those specs are actually accurate - who is vetting these, anyways?), but nowhere near as good as initially advertised.
Edit: Specs now show 16gb RAM and 256 gb SSD. This deal's getting worse all the time!

So, does it indeed have 32GB of RAM? I haven't seen another setup with that. Additionally, does it have 2 SSDs in addition to an HDD?
