Like probably many others, just got mine today as well. I don't have much to add to the discussion, but I'll share my opinions anyway.
They're great. Like others have mentioned, you will lose a bit of bass. However, I've had stock M50x pads degrade and crack so much with use in the past that the bass completely vanishes - so in the long run these velour pads will actually hold up much better. Even then, you're not losing absolutely tons of bass, you'll still be able to feel the impact, it's just not quite as hard hitting. Sound quality is pretty much exactly the same in all other areas as far as I can tell.
The biggest upgrade here is comfort though. That disgusting stickyness and general sweat that you get after wearing the stock pads for 30 minutes are completely gone. If you're the type of person that regularly has their headphones on for more than an hour at a time, absolutely pick these up if you're considering it.
I know I am.saving a lot of money since I don't have to buy replacement pads anymore. I'll be rich ;)
The amount of bass you lose is audible, which means a lot.
