I'm concerned at what appears to be a smaller ear hole than the stock pads. My Sennhseiser's allow my ears to fit inside with a little room to spare. My ATH-M50x stock pads are cutting it close as is. The Brainwavz HM5 Velor Memory Foam pads look like they have a larger diameter ear-hole however they only come in black. Ultimately comfort is my main concern not aesthetics. The HM5's are currently less money too. I'm not sure on the return policy otherwise I'd try both.

If your stock pads barely cut it, don't bother with these. I tried them, and they are just too small. Has about the same sound leakage and bass reduction as the HM5 pads either way.

Don't bother with these for the ATH-M50x, they affect the sound adversely (Bass cut but not in a good way) and the inside is smaller than on the stock pads. They feel comfortable in the beginning but after some time the cushions compress (more than stock pads) and the driver enclosure moves too close to the ears.
