Need advice. This, Elac Debut 2.0 B6.2 or Q-Acoustics 3020i? They're in the same price range.
Did some quick googling. These have more energy in the mids region, the Elac will have a more laid back sound and have more bass probably due to 6" vs 5" woofer. It's hard to find reviews of the Q acoustics that aren't from websites like forbes.
I own the B6.2 and they are great speakers if you like a smoother, warmer sound that is never sibilant.
Here's the problem: what I think sounds good, and what YOU think sounds good are two different things! The way a speaker sounds is one of the most subjective issues there are, since no two people hear EXACTLY the same way or sounds. The best that can be done is to compare all the OBJECTIVE criteria, and determine what is best for YOU! Anyone can offer an opinion (and that's ALL it is, opinion), but it can't mean the same to you as it does to them.
